Finally

Justin and I finally got Ryan’s Gnome Rogue on WOW to 60. I figured if we finished it Ryan might get excited and feel a little better. He’s still real sick. he lost his voice and everything. Ryan stayed home from school again today.

Hopefully his teacher won’t be as much of a jerk about it as she usually is. I really don’t like his teacher. She’s an old jerk. I can tell she doesn’t like him. Sometimes it even seems like she picks on him.

Hottest Products

I do a lot of my shopping online. I also buy a lot of computer products. It gets really annoying to have to google everything you want to buy and hope you find the best website out there that’s selling it for the best price. I really dislike having to look all over the internet comparing products and prices.

Hottest products is a website I use now when I’m looking for products online. They have ratings and reviews on everything! Astrology guides, dog training guides, guitar lessons, exercise training programs, languages, game guides, and much more. They even have a guide on how to manage a restaurant!

I want to read the Ebay Selling guides. That way I can learn how to make the most of ebay and make more money selling on it. In the past I’ve been reluctant to selll things on ebay due to me being afraid of messing it up. A step by step guide will stop that fear and teach me how to make the most of the experience.

I found the MMO leveling guides really useful as well. It’s so much easier to level characters in all games when you have a guide telling you where to go. Without a guide I end up running around like a chicken with it’s head cut off.

Ryan’s still really sick. It stinks seeing him like this. He’s been sleeping tons and he’s almost completely lost his voice. I really hope his meds start working so he’ll start to feel better.

He refuses to swallow tylenol or motrin to bring down his fever. So for the past few nights I’ve been up all night trying to hold a cool cloth on his head while he’s asleep. Fevers make me really nervous. I wish he’d just take the tylenol. :(

Family Movie Night

One thing my son and I have always enjoyed doing together is family movie night. We curl up on the couch or in my bed. I always make a big bowl of fat free popcorn or my favorite fruit or yogurt. I make either iced green tea or milky hot chocolate. Ryan gets pizza and mountain dew since he doesn’t like to eat anything. Sometimes he has cheese its instead. Or Nutter Butters. When my boyfriend is visiting and having family movie night with us sometimes I even cook up amazing nachos in the oven.

Lately my son always wants to watch scary movies. Freddy, Jason, etc. Last time my boyfriend was here for family movie night my son had us watching Candyman. I’d much rather my son watch movies with positive messages in them. Movies that could actually teach him something! Children learn a lot from what they see on the TV and media. It’s best that we try to keeep their movie time as positive as we can. Don;t get me wrong here I do let my son occasionally watch whatever he wants. But every family movie night can’t be about watching cheesy 80 horror films. If they were he’d probably be too afraid to sleep in his own bed until he was twelve.

I suggest all you mothers out there check out this movie trailer for All Roads Lead Home The Movie. It’s a great movie to include into your family movie night.

Ryan managed to get me sick yet again. The poor kid got it worse than me though. he’s had a fever for days. He’s coughing like crazy too.

Today I brought him to the doctor and they put him on antibiotics. I hope it works quickly, he’s missed so much school already this year. It would be horrible if he had to stay back. :(

Video Conferencing

My sons Dad moved all the way across the country to California. His fiance owns a business out there. I’m always looking for ways for my son to feel like he’s still a large part of his life. Playing games together help them some. Seeing each other face to face would work better though.

Video conferencing technology helps a lot of people keep in touch. I was thinking that he and his Dad could do online video conferencing.

Video conferencing is beneficial in many ways. Especially for companies. It allows them to conduct business meetings from anywhere in the world and still be able to talk face to face. Telemedicine is also a wonderful form of video conferencing. Doctors can video council during surgeries. That way a surgical expert across the world can add in his expertise to help save a patients life without even being there.

I think more business should take advantage of the benefits of video conferencing. The video conferencing hardware would quickly pay for itself with the boost it would give to business’s!

I told my sons Dad he should think about incorporating video conferencing into his company. It would be really helpful since his company takes care of the elderly. Maybe on his breaks he could spend time conferencing with my son as well.
