Did anyone else watch the Presidential Address the other night? I am really happy to hear what Obama is going to be doing with healthcare. Besides Healthcare and Education, there will be money spent in discovering new technologies. New medicines, and even trying to find a cure for cancer. Stem cells could very well be a possible source for this, or other cures. America will soon be doing many new studies on Stem Cells. Preserving yours now could save your life later!

Playdate

My Mom took Ryan and his friend to Boomerang today. It’s a children’s play place. They had a lot of fun! Ryan was really excited. He doesn’t get to see his friends much.

Lately we’ve been playing a lot of WOW. We moved servers again. I had to move my DK too to help him level his Mage.

He’s reading a lot better, and finally on a normal sleep schedule! I’m happy about that.

Hosting

I recently had to switch hosts for my websites. My old host started having a lot of problems. There was a lot of downtime. people would try to visit my websites and they either wouldn’t load, would error, or they would say maintenance. It got annoying fast. I didn’t pay good money for a host to have it not be reliable!

Finding a new host wasn’t a choice I was taking lightly. I didn’t want to spend money just to end up with the same crap all over again. I wanted to see the best webhosting out there compared to the other best hosts out there, and pick the host that would best fit all my website needs.

First I asked a lot of my friends which host they used. Varied responses came back. In the end I ended up checking out webhostinggeeks blog and looking at their site. The comparing helped me a lot in my final decision. I also loved their ratings and reviews.

Changeling

Tonight I finally watched “Changeling”. To be quite honest I never realized how sad it was going to be. Angelina Jolie did an amazing job in her role as the Mother. The way she displayed emotions seemed so real. It was fantastic acting.

How scary is it that this movie was truly based on a true story? This woman lost her son. Instead of receiving help from the LAPD who are meant to protect and serve, she was returned some strange boy then thrown in a mental institution when she told them he wasn’t her son! All the while her real son was murdered by some serial killer of young boys? It’s complete insanity.

Computers make me angry.

It seems like I have one problem after an other with my computers. If my Desktop isn’t acting up or completely broken then my laptop is overheating. If they’re both working fine then my sons computer won’t turn on. If they all are miraculously working then what happens? My cable is down! Nothing ever wants to work all at the same time. I’m surprised I get any blogging done or am able to play any games at all lately.

Yes my desktop is acting up again.. I fear it could once again be my hard drives failing even though they were just replaced in January. I’m hoping it’s something much less expensive though. I do need a new video card.

My cable also needs to be upgraded to a faster speed. Now that I have all these computers networked and my Grandmother and grandpa always have their TV’s on it’s just slow. Maybe I’ll start connecting through a proxy.

Ryan’s really happy to be home from school. Mostly we’ve just been playing games all week. We leveled our Alliance characters on WOW. He’s been playing Justin’s account a lot too. It’s fun playing a Druid. A nice break from my Hunter.

He’s also playing Gunz a lot with Justin. Personally I despise that game. Ryan loves it.

The other day he went to a new arcade with my Mom. He had a blast playing DDR. The kid is so hyper! I wish I had that kind of energy!

He’s been asking me to bring him to the Roller skating rink. I haven’t been there for years. I loved it when I was a little kid. My parents used to bring my friends and I all the time. I’m just not sure if I can skate with my back as messed up as it is.. My Dad said he’ll bring him. I just feel bad not being able to do it right now.
