I really hate when Ryan forgets to bring things home. He never brought home the stuff for me to order his school pictures. So then it totally slipped my mind until yesterday when my Mother started screaming about tomorrow being retake day. Ryan said he’d ask for the package in school today but of course he didn’t. So I had to email his teacher. Now I have no idea how the heck I’m going to do this.

I just found out about Springpad. It’s really cool! You can use Springpad to keep everything organized. Recipes, Favorite restaurants, shopping lists. You can add and track wines. It’s really useful because you can add recipes with just a click! You can also search for everything you have ever added before. You can even add picks from wine expert Gary Vee from Wine Library TV with just a click! How cool is that? If you haven’t tried out Springpad already I really suggest giving it a try. It’s amazing. I’ll never plan a dinner or shop without it again.
They’re even doing a contest right now for Thanksgiving!!! Some of Springpad’s food blogger partners are showcasing their kitchen-tested favorites for Thanksgiving. When you click to add them to your Springpad you will be entered into the contest and have a chance to win 100$ in cash! I already entered it. Here’s hoping I win! If you haven’t already you should definitely Check out Springpad and enter the contest. You won’t regret it. And good luck on the giveaway! Maybe you will be the lucky winner of 100$!.
Ryan ended up going trick or treating with my cousins this Halloween. He had a lot of fun. He planned on being a shark but at the last minute decided to be a soldier. He already had a uniform from the army navy store anyway. I kept trying to take pictures of his costume on one of my cameras but he kept covering his face. He dislikes having his picture taken. This was the only one I could get and he’s making a goofy face. I was really glad that Halloween was so warm this year! Some years it’s freezing. Sometimes it even snows here.
I have a lot of trouble getting my son to read. He just doesn’t like to. He doesn’t even like being read to. He’s supposed to read every night for 15 minutes for homework. But it’s near impossible to get him to ever do it. Last week he brought home one of the
iary of a Wimpy Kid” books and he liked it a lot. He’s been actually reading it with me. It’s nice to finally have something to write down on his nightly reading chart. I’m going to order him the rest of the series as soon as I can. The books are written really cute. It’s like a diary with pictures drawn in it. The paper is even lined.
